Hi Nate! I know you get tons of emails every day, and I am not even sure if you'll see this with your busy schedule, but I'd just like to say that you are very talented, and by far my favorite singer! I started listening to fun when I was about nine. My brother would always play "All the Pretty Girls" and I quickly learned every single word to that song. As a nine year old girl, I told myself that I should "branch out" into other songs and bands, and thats when I found your old band, The Format. Thats when I went from listening to All the Pretty Girls, to "She doesn't get it." When the album Some Nights came out, I immediately listened to all the new music, and I thought it was even better. (Although I was a little mad because that was when all my friends became OBSESSED with fun. when I had been listening to you all along! (: ) The top 5 songs I like (out of all the music there is) are: Why am I the One, Some Nights, Carry on, Light a Roman Candle with me, and The Gambler. The Gambler is my favorite song ever. I think it is so clever and truly one of the most touching songs I've ever heard. Thank you so much for reading this! Hi, my name is Sarah and I have a best friend who means the whole entire world to me. She's an amazing girl, and really strong, especially considering she lost her mother recently, and she's only 16. Her name is Kelsie and she loves loves loves FUN. I recently learned why. Every time she hears the song Carry On, she says she knows it's her mother, telling her to keep going and be strong. We live in Michigan and attended the last concert FUN had there. Kelsie was profoundly moved by the concert, and with all she's been through this year, it was amazing to see her lit up like that. I just wanted to say thank you, because you made my Kelsie smile and laugh and cry. Your music helped her, and I will be grateful to you forever and ever for that. Thank you for giving my best friend her favorite night of the summer, and thank you for giving me a chance to see her face lit up.
