YOU ARE AMAZING! And I search you in the Web, and was noticed that you were from the Format. My favorite song from the Format is DOG PROBLEMS , I can´t actually stop singing! I know the letter of the song as the lines in my hands.I really like your voice. FUN. is amazing , you are my favorite singer.I am always writing in my hand or in my stomach: FUN. I would like to make me a TATTOO, but I am really young.I am practicing, because I want to send to the FUN. page in Facebook a cover of many of the songs I like.I would like to be a singer like you, but I know that my voice will change a little more, so I need to wait. You are an amazing singer and person. Dear Nate,
I saw you at your concert yesterday, and that night, I will admit, was one of the best of my life. You are extraordinarily talented, and all of your songs really can turn my day from bad to amazing. I know this must be hard to believe for you, but when you looked down into the crowd, every time you made eye contact with someone, you really make them so incredibly happy. You are a great man, and you do great things. Thank you so much for affecting my life in such an amazing way! You are absolutely incredible. I know that you are not gong to read this, but thanks for brightening my day, every day with your music. It has really changed my life.

Nate,

Let me start by saying, you are absolutely adorable. I started listening to you guys' music when I was about fourteen and the lyics just completely changed my view of life. I recently wen to one of y'all's concerts; it was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It was my fist time seeing y'all live, and it was perfect. It was everything I'd expected and more. I was about 3 feet from the stage and I was hysterical, to say the least. Anyway, I just want you, Jack, and Andrew to know that I appreciate y'all and that next time you're on tour, I ( and many, many others) would love it if you made a stop in Alabama.
Love,
Allison

Dear Nate,

My name is Tom, and I would like to say that I personally love your music from both Fun. and The Format. I am a Freshmen at Aquinas College, and I love music and trying to become a singer for any Alternative Indie Rock Bands out here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am truly inspired by not only your music; but, also how you stand out to people and just being yourself in front of others.
Back in the Metro Detroit area, I would usually be criticized and harassed about my appearance and the things I liked. People would call me "Gay", "Fag", "Loser", and would make me feel like I'm hated. For a good while, I thought I was hated and no one truly cared for me. I thought I was nothing but a waste of space to others, only because of the way I would dress (Button-downed shirts fully buttoned with sleeves rolled up to my biceps, jeans or pants rolled up to my ankles, suspenders depending on the outfit, tight jeans, and/or my old button down looks kinda similar to your blue jean button-down shirt that's somewhat ripped at the bottom.). Another thing that caused me to feel worse was when my Aunt/Godmother passing away a year before graduating High School. I was literally in a mess of depression.
My cousin decided to cheer me up by having me listen to upbeat music. The first thing he puts on was "At Least I'm Not As Sad (As I Used to Be)". My cousin then puts on more of your songs from your first album "Aim & Ignite" which actually cheered me up in a sense. This caused me to think of many things. 1) These songs are amazing. 2) It actually makes me feel a lot better just listening to these songs. 3) Who are these guys? I want to hear more music from them!
I took the opportunity to search information about your band and found out that I have heard of you guys before on the radio with your single “We Are Young (feat. Janelle Monáe)”. I was surprised that I didn’t noticed the first second I heard “At Least I’m Not As Sad (As I Used to Be)”. So then on after I started listening to more of your music, not only was I truly inspired by your songs, I learned a lot from your lyrics. And when I found out how you stand up for being yourself, it made me realize that I need to be more confident and be okay with who I am. It also made me rethink of how much I wanted to be a singer again.
So then on afterwards I started writing Lyrics and been performing cover songs in acapella versions (Including your song “Carry On”) I even went to Karaoke Nights at bars and sang “Some Nights”, “We Are Young”, and any Green Day song without looking at the screen and act like I’m performing at a concert. This helped contain the thoughts of hate and depression, and I couldn’t thank you enough for not only inspiring me, but for helping me cope with the hatred, depression, and dramas that I had to face within the past year.
I truly hope to meet you one day and maybe even get to work with you on songs.

Thank you for everything.

Sincerely,

V. Thomas Sanchez

Hi Nate

I was wondering if you would be interested in helping me ask my Love to Marry me at your show in Orlando Sept. 19th. I have tickets with her and my Dad. I introduced your music yo Dad this year and he loves it. That same day we are going to court on a difficult family matter, and we are coming to see you, to try and get our minds off of it. It would be so cool if you would help me ask Sherry to marry me? :). I hope you get this.. I assume its a long shot, but worth a try. Love your work... Thanks!
