So im Jake and im a big fan of yours. Im 15 and living in the USA. I dont know how many hours ive spent listening to the Artic Monkeys, and these day from your new album "Submarine". I do know though that I think your songs are superbly poetic. I know you can't really make a ton of money at poetry, but even now though Im actaully writing a book of poetry. I'm Yasmin and a huge fan, and i really love what you do but one of my friends is even more into you and the arctic monkeys.. He is having a really hard time this year, his brother is suffering from major depression and at the moment, far from the road to recovery; he's indicated he feels suicidal. This is so hard for my friend, him and the family are devastated, I'm writing to ask that you please contact him, a short phone call or something would mean so much to him; he needs to do something for him, not just his brother, you would cheer him up. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it. My name is Kate Dooley and I am a third year law student at the University of York in Yorkshire. I have been involved with a charity called Childreach international, which you can learn more about by going to this website, http://www.childreach.org.uk/.
As such I have been fundraising for this charity for several months now and I am currently trying to put an event together which, in essence, is a boat party which is to take place in June. The cost of hire for the boat is £700 and to encourage ticket sales to fund this expense, I want to arrange for a Yorkshire bred band to perform. The first band that came to mind is my favourite band, you, the arctic monkeys.
