How is my letter sent?

Good question! The concept of Crowdletter is very simple.

Let's say for example that you want to send a letter to the Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher. It may sound hard, but there is a way to reach Ashton Kutcher himself, and it's called Twitter!
Twitter usually verifies owners of popular accounts so that you know that @aplusk is indeed the famous actor Ashton Kutcher himself. So by all means you can simply write a tweet to @aplusk and start chatting with Ashton about the weather, right? Sorry, no.

Enter @crowdletter: You write a letter to Ashton Kutcher and once its gets voted by 100 people, a tweet is automatically posted by our twitter user @crowdletter to @aplusk asking Ashton Kutcher to read your letter. But now it's different. You tweet is supported by 100 people which means that it is too important for Ashton Kutcher to ignore, as he may have done with your other tweets.

Still looking for a fan mail address? You don't need that anymore!

By sending a crowdletter, you have much higher chances that your letter will be read/replied than by just sending an email, postal mail, facebook message, tweet or poke. Go ahead and try it, you have nothing to lose!
