Hey my name is jake west I’m from Douglassville Pennsylvania. First off I just want to say you have the greatest voice of all time. Second I have been dealing with mental illness the past few years. I had a few hospitalizations along with a suicide attempt. They said it was schizophrenia which it was but the things I started to hear and visions I started to have were crippling. Your music has impacted my life so great that I watch your concert at Long Beach the movie so much I know the setlist. This is something I wrote when I was going through the worst part of my life. I’ll post it below this. I really need you to know how much I respect you as a person. Thank you for the amazing 3 shows I’ve been to. Thank you for your music. Thank you M.
There’s a pack of hooded devils coming to get me. They won’t be seen. Bring out the monsters to feed. They said I was lethal. They said I was a vessel. Their words are drowning you under another layer. Like a chalice of blood circling whispering words from a place of blasphemy. Silencing you to put you at an evil stand still. Like splitting your mind in half being forced to speak and say silent at the same time. Someone is in the eyes of my dog staring back at me. Maybe a kid fell down a well. Maybe there’s a kid tied up in a cess pull of snakes out there by the real evil on this earth. The ones who speak in tounges. The ones on the dark web. The sinister ones. Terrorist fucks. These aren’t ghosts it’s something forbidden. Hiding in another layer of this universe. Perhaps my eyes will be able to see them when they’re closed. Will I see through someone else’s vision i don’t know. A dark world with I had a dream with ancient people trying to climb up from underground. The alter to the streets. What is going on with me. What stretches? What long legs? Why the metaphors? They’re all disrespectful like calling something like a fart from a king scripture. Yeah it’s that type of forbidden. That type of blashemy. I know there’s no place for it but unfortunately that made a place for it. It’s been there collecting every awkward silence with acts of pure sinister violence Try to silence me again. Maybe I’ll stop connecting to these demons putting this in my head. Someone is cutting their hand as a blood sacrifice to keep a deity calm for 24 hours. The sky is about to fall. My meat is rotten. The creatures are coming out. This word play isn’t like a backword record. I’ll say it loud and clear without being silenced. Idgaf what kind of power poison pain predicament pariah. I got used to people looking through me enough where I don’t even look down when I take a shit or give them a warning before. Only the real ones look at the layers of this world or each others lives like a book. I answered everything I thought I needed to and it ended up being silenced. something that needed to be addressed thrown away so that the monster can eat. orchestrated to be heard at that most awkward and “forbidden” time.

I started to get into avenged sevenfold around a year ago but have listened been listening to it my whole life from my mom. The first song i re-found was a little piece of heaven and listened to it on repeat, till I had to show my mom the cool band I found and turns out she's been a fan almost since the begin of the the band and has been to a show!!(and now i'm jealous she didn't take me when I was a baby...)
She showed me some of ur songs and I fell in love with avenged sevenfold, she also showed me other bands but nothing compared to A7x. My favorite songs are Brompton cocktail, Flash of the blade and fiction, that song makes me cry everytime I listen to it so I try not to listen to it a lot..
My favorite member since I started listening has been the rev. I've always wished of having a member sign one of my drawings of him, so im going to keep drawing more until I do! Im going to upload my drawings to X/twitter so if anyone on here wants to see my drawings. (:

Hello. My Name is Cameron Cummings and I am 13 years old. I started listening to your band recently. I know I might be a bit young, but I still love your music. The first song I heard by your band was Almost Easy. After that song, I listened to some of your other stuff. Afterlife is a favorite of mine. But my absolute FAVORITE song is Turn The Other Way! I loved Sounding the Seventh Trumpet! Although, I don't own it. But, I BEGGED my parents to get me Waking The Fallen! They bought it AND bought Hail to The King. There is another thing though. My mom saw you at the 2011 UPROAR Festival in Indianapolis. She now has stage 2 Lung Cancer. She told me she saw you on stage but was scared to say Hi. Your music makes her happy and makes me happy too. Your band has inspired me so much, I bought a guitar, along with rocksmith and bought the whole A7X pack. And the guitar I got? I know you'll probably never read this, but it's worth a shot.
I started listening to Avenged Sevenfold a few years back when my best friend convinced me to check you guys out. The first song I ever heard was Beast and the Harlot, followed by Critical Acclaim. I was hooked. The more I dug into the music the more I fell in love. I recently got to go to your show in Atlanta on October 15, and let me just say, YOU ALL ROCKED! It was the best birthday present I could have hoped for. Anyway, to keep this letter short, after digging deeper into the music I was inspired to write music of my own. Now I listen to the band religiously and always have something new to learn from each song. But that's enough about me. The whole point in this letter is just to say that I love you guys and you all are doing a FANTASTIC job! I'm proud to say that I am an Avenged Sevenfold addict. Your music has honestly changed my life and I am extremely proud to say that. Keep up the good work!

I'm such a huge fan. I just started listening too you guys right before The Rev died. I love you guys so much. I just wish ya'll could come to a very quite town of Big Island. Its never will happen but theres so many other who wish you could come to there small town to I know. But you guys are the Best Band in the entire universe to me and alot of other people. But ya'll are just so fucking badass. If I had one wish before I die I would want to come to one of your concerts I wouldn't cure if I was all the way in the back. I would still want to go. Just like all of your other fans that can't afford to go to your concerts or cause of their work or their parnets but ya'll will always be my No.1 band in the entire universal. Everybody got dreams my dream is too come meet you guys in person just before I die. I would never ever forget that either not in a million trilllion years. Thats how much you guys mean to me. O yeah Zacky said something like this "The Best Revenge Is Better Yourself" when I seen it I loved it then started using it. That is the best saying I have ever heard in my entire life. I thought it was such badass. But you guys are them best band ever your are the best in everything possible to me. But I don't cure ya'll are the best in everything you do ya'll are just so badass!
