Hello Katy, I have never done something like this but you have been profoundly inspiring me to follow my dreams and never give up on them. My ultimate goal is to become the greatest runway designer; designing runways for fashion shows is what I wanna do and what I live for! I have watched you perform over the years and have you shown me that dreams do come true and that I can be different and still achieve just as much or even more than the next person. It is my undying passion and love of my goals that sets me apart from everyone else; I have designed over 30 unique runways and after watching how you stand aside from all other artists; your voice, your costumes, your hair, the shoes all the way to the very make-up you wear. Dear Katy, My Granddaughter who 4 just loves you we have 2 cds in our vehicle and she knows both word for word. She has spina bifida and would do anything to meet you. I know that this letter may not actually get to you, but I just want to get it out there that I love you. I know a lot of people say that to you (and I'm sure you appreciate it every time) but I don't mean I love you in A typical fan way...I mean I love you as I love you as a person, I love your personality, I love your inspirational ethics. You are gonna make a lot of difference in this world (If you haven't already). Katy I watched your documentary, part of me, and I realized something...I realized that us fans may have helped you get to where you are now..but you sacrifice sooooooooooooo much to make us happy, and we take that for granted. We just get caught up in the moment, and the gorgeous music (keep it up btw)..and we don't even take the time to thank you! And I don't wanna get too caught up to show my appreciation!! So...THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICES!!! And please keep on reminding yourself that you live a fairytale life (which you deserve so much!!!) and it is all worth it in the end because all of us KatyCats love love love you!!!! Dear Katy Perry
I am writing to you on behalf of my son Rohan. He is 10 and suffers from Autism. He is such a big fan of yours and I am hoping that you could help out with my fundraising efforts for some of his medical needs and also the needs of other kids like him. We live in Australia and if your child is diagnosed with an ASD after their 7th birthday there are no options available for parents for funding to help with medical costs. I myself am a single parent and a Uni student, I have three children and money is tight. I am not asking for monetary donations for myself nor others but I am starting up a foundation so that eventually people in similar situations can get some help. I am currently trying to work at getting a reliable car for myself and my kids so I can get them to medical appointments etc and also donate ipads and itunes cards and assistance dogs and funding for Autism Spectrum Disorder specific educational sponsorships.
If there is only one person that I think has made a huge impact on my son and his life it would have to be you. His favourite songs are "firework" and " I kissed a Girl". Actually I kissed a girl was one of the first songs my son and his little sister sang together. This is important because his little sister is in the middle of the diagnostic process for Aspergers Syndrome.
I am so hoping that maybe you could donate a signed photo or something that I can auction off to raise some much needed funds..
You are such a big part of my sons therapy and most evenings he falls asleep to the sound of your music in his ears.. His little IPOD is getting worn out. lol...
On a brighter note, you are such a great performer and I am so sad that I couldnt make any of your concerts as my little man doesnt do too well amongst crowds.. You are such an inspiration to all those whose life you touch. I only hope you realise how much you mean to so many people.......
