Dear Jon,
er...Hello (?). It's the first time I write something to someone so famous and I'm a bit embarassed.
My name is Chiara and I'm 18, I attend the last year in an italian high school and I hope to continue in studying foreign languages such as Frech, English and German.
I'm a huge fan of you but I'm kind of new fan, since the 5th of July when I say you playing at Hyde Park, London.
It has been the most beautiful hours of my whole life, I've been at other concerts before, but I've never seen a band so deeply captured by the passion for the music.
That night has been the edge of an awesome holiday that I spent with my best friend Beatrice.
It's for her that I'm writing this letter, in less than a month she will be 18, it would be great if you could wish her happy birthday, I'm asking nothing sensational only few lines or a small video maybe.
Everything wuold be perfect, if it could come from you.
Beatrice would be gratefull, because she (like me) felt that something had changed that night.
We're slowly listening to your discography and we're discovering ourselves in even more lyrics.
I hope you'll read these few lines and write me back soon.
with Love,
Chiara Amerini.
Dear John
My husband is Lou Carcich your home room and History teacher at Sayreville High School. Lou always admired your passion for music. He always said you were a “good kid”. He was reminded of our love when he talked about you and Dorothea since we were also HS sweethearts. I volunteer at the Parker Care Center in Somerset, NJ. I have a. desire to have you come visit one of the residents. Sandy is a 52 year old who was born with Spinabifida and hydrocephalus. She has been through a particularly hard time lately. She loves to follow you. When I told her that my husband taught you she lit up. I even bought her a Jon Bon Jovi Tshirt. I am writing for Sandy but also to share all the ways Lou filled you. Then my latest surprise was to find out that my granddaughter Julia is in your nephew Rocco’ class at Red Bank Catholic High School. I pray that I hear from you.

Dear Jon
My name is Robert Michael deets lll. My friends and family call me Mike. I was 6 years old, riding in the back seat of my baby sitters car when I heard " you give love a bad name" for the first time. I remember thinking WOW!, this is amazing! What is this? I asked. She this is Bon Jovi. Likand just like that I was hooked. I followed you as much as I could. I was young so I wasn't allowed to watch MTV buf I would when my parents weren't home. My brothers and I would argue all the time about what great music was. My older twin brothers loved r&b and rap and my little brother loved it too. Even my cousin's would say " How can you dance to that music?" and " rock and roll sucks!" And what have you. I'm 42 years old now and my youngest daughter is more like me more than my other kids. I love them all but I have a special place in my heart for her. She plays the trumpet just like me and her grandad do but to my surprise she also loves to play guitar. I bought her first one for Christmas during COVID and it changed her life. I introduced her to your music and others. She loves your sound. I talk so much about you and your music she asked me if I was friends with you lol. I wish I said. You are one year younger than my dad so I feel connected to you since my dad and I have such a good relationship. It's kind of funny but it's finally making sense. I get older just like everyone else but I never really understood until I saw a direct TV commercial that you sang in. I consider you one of my best friends even though we never met. When I saw( and I mean this in a good way)how much older you got, it broke my heart and I cried a little. My hero looks so old I thought. Then recently I watched your " Thank you and goodnight" show on Hulu, I was scared that I'd never hear you sing again. The series was great, I watched it twice. What a cliffhanger ending. I watch your abc interview with Mr Strahan and was so relieved and excited to see the surgery was a success. Bravo! Now I know I'm just a random fan and you have millions I'm sure but I hope you see this letter and respond if you get a chance.
Your loyal fan
Mike Deets

My daughter, Angela Schalter, has been battling Leukemia and having a difficult time, as you would imagine. She’s having a bone marrow transplant in April 2024. . You are her favorite artist and I was hoping you could send her a card, photo or any correspondence to cheer her up. You’re not just a gifted artist but a giving and caring man. This is why your fans love you so much. It would mean the world to her if you could find the time to cheer her up. Either way, thank you for contributing so much to all of us. My email is below if you would like her address.

Hi bon Jovi I have been a fan of yours since the day you started and I listen to your music almost every day you are an inspiration to me and my life the lyrics in your songs bring a tear of joy to my heart almost all of your songs are about your wife it is truly amazing how much you love her to this day I feel your love for her so strongly in my heart I give you all the credit in the world for being together for all these years and how truly in love you are with her still to this very day to find a love like that is one of a kind and especially being a rock icon with all your fans people will go through a lifetime and never find it or experience that kind of love with all my respect and love for both of you and I think that you are truly the most amazing artist I have ever seen the words in your songs and how you sing them are so strong that I can feel them all the way over here there are really no words that can express the in depth feeling that you your love and your music can ever begin to express the feeling in my heart but I think you know what I'm trying so hard to explain to you of how amazing and talented and faithful you are and how much you are a part of my life I just wanted you to know what a truly remarkable person you are thank you from the bottom of my heart
Dear Jon,
Yes, I love your song "Livin' On A Prayer" & it has been a favorite of mine for many years. I don't mean to get political about things but when I "briefly" tuned in to FOX network on 3/30/23 @ 11:23 AM, and listened to the garbage/lies they regularly feed their listeners, it made me angry! Why? Because when they cut to a commercial they were playing your song. They are all promoters of nonsense & just knowing how they've operated and will do anything, including using visuals with cross necklaces to subtly brainwash their viewers into believing they are all about GOD, it struck a chord with me. I know it was chosen ONLY due to having the word "prayer" in the song. Their manipulation is very real & beyond! I speak with knowledge because my elderly mom (and others) have become their victims.
I just had to share this with you hoping that you might do something to ban them from using your music for all the wrong reasons. Good & evil just don't blend well together.
Thx for listening!
Lindy
Dear Jon,
When I wasa baby my mom listen to you alot.i grew up to your music to the point she brought me to my first concert for her so called mid life crisis at age 50 for her birthday at giants stadium. She has listen to you since the get go. And now I enjoy your music as well. I am sad to say my only living parent is leaving this earth faster than anyone care to say. She is the last of my bloodline , my other parent and the one who got me through the worst part of my life not once but twice. I had cancer, I felt like I wanted to give up. She made sure I was in no pain. I'm blessed to have had her. If anything I wish I could do more for her . If anything your music has helped keep us together even when she finally leaves this earth. So I just want to say thank you for giving me something besides her clothes or pictures but the memories and fun we have had listing to your music. At least now I can say to my kids one day your grandmother to be to see bon Jovi in NJ where your roots run deep. So again thank you .
