Dear Mark,
Hi! I'm Girlie, I'm 17 and I'm a Filipina. I'm a huge fan and I would really love to meet you guys in person. I wasn't able to come to your concert in Manila and I was really devastated. Anyway your songs are awesome, I can't really tell which one's my favourite coz I love them all and I can't get enough of them or you or Ponzi, or Isom, or Cubie or Sean. I just love you guys and whenever I watch your live performances on Youtube it makes me love you even more! I really hope you'd come back to Philippines coz I'll go crazy if you wouldn't and I hope that if by chance you'd have a concert here again I wouldn't have class coz I can't afford to miss another breath-taking, heart-pounding, ground-breaking, panty-dropping (JK :D) concert! I love you guys soo much and if I could just fly to wherever you are and say this to you in person, I would but I'm no superman nor do I have wings or flying machine or pants that make you fly like SpongeBob. Anyway, if you can't come to my house or mysteriously appear on my doorstep please follow me on twitter @Gurlalei coz it would mean a lot but if you could do both then feel free to do so :D I love you so so much and I know I already said that but I'll say it again anyway! Love ya!!! [There it goes again]

Hi Mark!
I'm from the UK, and a MASSIVE of yourself and (my favourite band) Foster the People! Your songs are so uplifting and fun, I love nothing more than to dance around to them with my friends! Yet they're also so deep and meaningful, the lyrics really touch me and bring emotion. My room is full of posters, cd's and school art and music projects of Foster the People, I really am in love with the band! I wish you so much luck for the future and please don't stop producing such beautiful work with your other gorgeous band mates Mark and Cubbie! You guys rock!
Love Sophie ( @Sophasaurus on twitter if you're interested) x

Hey Mark!
I saw you guys in concert at the Greek back in June and ever since I've been mesmerized by the experience! I sang the words to every single song and could not get over how amazing it was live. I stood about five rows back and could easily say it was the most amazing experience. I had always been a huge fan since last summer, but seeing Foster the People in concert was unreal. I even brought my best friend, who was a mild fan, but after the first song, she was in love. You guys do miracles to your fans, and it would be our dream come true to meet the band some day! Can't wait for a potential new album; I know it will be just as amazing as Torches.

Love you guys so much! Hope to meet you
Your Fans,
Caitlin (@lynchyyy_17) and Jenna (@jennalishh)

Hi Mark! My name is Mehar, I'm 11 years old and I just wanted you to know that your music really helped me get through a tough time in my life with having to move to a new school and being bullied and stuff like that. Everyday when i come home from school i listen to your album Torches and it feels like all the stress is lifted off my shoulders. When i grow up i want to be in a band just like Foster The People. When i went to your concert in Berkeley it was a dream come true. Everything was absolutely amazing! I can't even describe how i was feeling, It was that great. I hope i can see you live again soon and maybe even meet you one day!
Music is my only friend, always there to comfort me when i'm sad. But, when i listen to your songs I feel like i'm in a whole different world, away from pain and sorrow. I don't have anyone to express my feeling to, so music speaks for me. If it wasn't for Foster The People, I don't even know if i would be alive. Your music gives meaning to my life, something to actually look forward to. I love everything about Foster The People, and I always will. Thank you so much for being such a great role model, you have really influenced my life in a great way!
My twitter is http://twitter.com/meharsingh

Love, your biggest fan,
Mehar Singh

MARK!!!
I know you probably will never read this letter, but I can still try. First I just want to say I LOVE YOU!!!!! I'm 15 from Fresno CA (this place kind of sucks) And I have loved Foster the People forever and I would love to go to a concert with my older brother (who happens to love Foster the People too) once he comes back from the Air Force. It would be great if you could consider performing in Fresno or somewhere near it. Thanks for your time, and I hope this does get to you.
LOVE YOU
your fan, Paige

Dear Mark,
I just wanted to say thank you to you and your band. I was having a lot of trouble with depression and cutting, and I started listening to your band "Foster The People", the songs you guys preform help me feel up beat, and happy.. Which is something I haven't felt in a long time. Your song "Don't Stop (Color on the Walls) is the song that really helped me get through my problems. It just made me feel like "Hey, I shouldn't stop trying to make friends, and to be different". And I didn't stop, and now I have a good relationship with my family, and I have amazing friends.
Again, I just wanted to say thank you.. You and your band made a 15 year old girls life go from horrible, and dark, to happy, fun, and bright(: It means so much to me.

Sincerely,
Adriana R. (:

Hi Mark! I'm 16 from sweden.
The thing is, I want you to come here and have a concert! The last and only really real concert I was to was Black eyed peas five years ago, and that's pretty sad...haha.
I know all your songs and their lyrics and you're really the only band that i reaaaaaaaally reaaaaally have ever liked so much! When I'm sad; I listen to your band. When I'm happy, I listen to your band. I've gone through some difficult stuff lately, and you've been the best medicine there could ever be!
When people ask me what music I like, and listen to, I say ''Foster the people''. I love your music; it's art, and it's love.
