Hello Mark! I'm zai from London, and I'd just like to say that Foster the People have gotten me through many tough times, and if it was not for your music, I think I'd have lost a lot of hope in Life. I was lucky enough to go to a show last April - in Brixton, and I can safely say that that was one of the best nights of my life. Anyway, I'm not going to ramble on, but I'd just like you to know that your music means the world to me and a lot of people like me out there, so don't stop making music and being an inspiration because the world needs more people like you :)
Lots of love, Zai.

Um, hi, Mark!
My name is Analisa, I'm fifteen years old, and I live in Northern California. I LOVE YOUR WORK SO MUCH. I was introduced to Pumped Up Kicks and I immediately fell in love, so I had to hear more of this "Foster the People". I did, and I have to say that Torches is one of the few albums where every track is special to me. My dream is to go to one of your shows, and I really would LOVE to meet you guys! Unfortunately, all of the FTP shows in my area have been sold out for weeks, so I'll just continue to dream. :)
I just wanted to let you know what your music has done to my outlook on life. In my eyes you're such an inspiring and beautiful person!
I hope you're able to see this!

Oh hey, Mark! My name is Jessica! I'm 14 and your seriously BIGGEST FAN. You're the only band I can listen to without starting to cry or get sad or laugh hysterically! All of your songs make me smile and they inspire me in every way! Tickets for Chicago, Illinois are all sold out!
Hi, mark!
i would just like to say thank you for making such beautiful music!
'Ruby' is actually my favourite song by you guys and I was wondering if you could put it on your next album as it isn't in Torches?
As i said, it's my favourite song and I'd really love to be able to 'hold it in my hands'.
Thanks again for all you've done. You may not know me, but you saved my life.
All the best,
Vie

Hello, Mr.Mark Foster I am an extremely huge fan of you and your bands' work. It was last year when i first heard of Foster the People when ''Pumped up Kicks'' was released. Ever since you made that song I've been a fan. I love all your music and I really would like to meet the band in person. Can't wait til you come to Houston, Tx for a concert! :)
Hi Mark!
I just want to say that I am so so so happy that I found you and your talent. My name is Charlotte, I am 15, and I live in San Diego, California. I had heard Pumped up Kicks, Don't Stop, and Helena Beat on Alt Nation radio (best radio station EVER) and I really enjoyed them. For some reason though, I never bothered to listen to any of your other songs. That changed the night of the Grammys. I was only partially watching it, but my mom told me you guys were performing and I decided to pay attention. The moment you opened your mouth and began to sang, my heart skipped so fast and I couldn't look away from the screen. I bought your entire album immediately after your performance and listened to it for 3 days straight. Your style of music is so unique and you gave me a passion for music that I had lacked. I had been playing piano since I was 7 but I was never very interested it. You and your songs gave me a drive now to try and persue music with my brother. Your album artwork has also been very inspiring to me. I gave up drawing for a long time, even though I do have a good artistic ability. I became bored with it, as I did with music. I'm currently working on a drawing right now that I will post to your twitter when I finish. I hope you will see it. I love your sense of humor and how you don't take things too seriously, but you are also compassionate towards others and I admire that greatly. My parents bought me tickets to see you this summer in Toronto, Canada, because we are visiting relatives there at the same time as you are there. Words cannot describe how excited I am to see you live. I hope you will see this message. If you do, it would be absolutely amazing if you replied to me on twitter. char_laatte Thank you for being yourself and bringing a whole new type of music into this world.
