Dear Chris Martin,
My name is Poppy and I am in year 7 student at Leweston school in Sherborn, Dorset. I am writing to you as I am concerned about the amount of plastic in our oceans. I knew that you are concerned about the environment because people rode bikes at one of your concerts.
There is a floating trash island in our sea, and it is called the Great Garbage Patch. I think this is really bad situation because of all the animals in our oceans its harming. I have seen pictures of turtle's being trapped by beer can plastic holders. It has made their shells go a weird shape. Turtles also get killed from ingesting plastic bags they mistake for jellyfish.
If we do not do something fast our oceans are going to be filled with trash. It is thought that 12 million metric tons of plastic washes into the ocean every year. By 2050 there is going to be more plastic than fishes.
I am hoping that you can lend your support and help persuade people to not use plastic and to help save our future environment. And help save our future that's coming.

Chris you are a true inspiration, Let me start by saying in 2020 my Brother went into kidney failure due to the Corona Virus. He began Dialysis I saw this taking a toll on him and so, I told him that if possible I would help him. I registered as a potential donor candidate. I was called for a phone interview at first, then later went for extensive testing which lasted for about six month. . During the entire time I would wear my earbuds and play Fix you! So, It all worked out almost a perfect match. When the time came for our big day. We went for our pre operation testing and thats when I decided to share fix you with him. We both broke down!. What a beautiful song and so appropriate,Thank you so so much for inspiring me!!. I believe in June 2022 my brother and I were able to catch your show it was a magical night!! Please keep up the wonderful work.

Hi Chris i would love my young children to see you in a concert but I'm afraid of taking them and getting squashed, I think you're fantastic and love your music and have done for years. Please please would you please sign my rotten council house petition on change.org as we really can't live in anymore and please please im desperately trying to stop the long line of poverty in our family and was trying to get Ophelia Peck a bursary at your old Exeter cathedral school ( we saw your signed stuff) would love so so so much if you would kindly help us, we have especially Ophelia been seriously I'll in this rotten council house, I have no support and was born here in Exeter and my sister suddenly died years ago and my mum has breast cancer that I'm trying to look after. I desperately want to change my life but especially my childrens life and I know you don't know me, but I'm desperate to get a decent home as my daughter has had strep A, both my Ophelia peck aged just nine and Serenity peck aged two have had chest infections and chickenpox and Ophelia has had pneumonia and my serenity is I'll to, I doubt if we will even hear back from you as your probably far to busy and I guess I am asking if not begging for your help, we can't even get a dentist, I wish I could get my teeth done to. Please please if you can help me in anyway publish about our rotten house and if i open up a charity or something to help people get their teeth done and to help hoarders would you be on the board or a sponsor or something please maybe you could help me set it up. My name is Andrew Aiken and I am the creator of the 'I Have a Dream' mural on King Street, Newtown, Australia. I am honoured that you would choose my work as a feature in your 'Sky Full of Stars' video which I strangely only saw recently after years of spiritual retreat. ( I only recently even got a phone.)
I listened to your music through hard times when I was younger. I just saw your new video, it's quite brilliant.
Artslaw tells me that they would consider the mural use a copyright infringement, but I'm not about giving money to lawyers. Saying that I am currently skint and battling for my family. I am working on a super interesting painting invention also and need backing. (I'm also a dab hand at clarinet and soprano sax if you want to add anew sound!) I would love to talk to you human to human. I believe in the impossible and want to make 100 billion with my architectural maintenance machines, and hire as many orphans in Africa as I can to reforest the continent and grow bio-fuel. ( If the orphans in Africa all joined hands, they would reach from New York to Seattle 3 times...I worked there in the Congo and know some of them, the suffering is real and we have the power in our one short life to do something.

I’m not writing from Ukraine or other poverty stricken country. But I am writing to you because I know you are a huge huge humanitarian. My dearest friend that I grew up with since junior high that’s what they called it back in the day. Lost her son to a heroin overdose a few years ago!! We are planning to attend your concert in San Diego on September 27. I live in the Chicago area and I’m planning on flying out to see my favorite band of all time. I know it’s a lot to ask but it would be so awesome, if you were to call us both up “ Friends for a lifetime biggest Coldplay fans” to rock out with the best group ever. Parachutes was released when I was 13 years old and I loved it. I have grown up with Coldplay and you inspired me to take up the drums and play music with my friends. I couldn't tell you the hours I've spent listening and singing along to your albums.
I was incredibly upset to learn that you plan to stop making music. The world is in crisis on so many levels, and I don't think you realise how important and powerful your music can be to inspire others. I listened to Everyday Life and I cried because it touched on so many of the terrible events that were happening in the world. And that was in 2019.... Your decision to make your concerts as low emission as possible was world leading and we need more of that leadership.
Now more than ever we need people like you to inspire empathy, collaboration, communication and fairness. I really hope you reconsider. Don't be a bystander, be an upstander!

As you know, we are now at war with Russia.
I am a musician and for me as a songwriter your music and Chris' voice are the main inspirations in songwriting.
I have a dream to get to your concert, and I hope my life, if it does not end suddenly, will give me such an opportunity.
I don't know what song can be singled out from your repertoire, I like literally every song and every one inspires me to write my own music.
I want to make a request to you.
I want to write words in Ukrainian for the second verse and chorus of Everglow and record it along with your original first verse.
Why this song?
It always causes tears inside me and some inexplicably pure emotions that I want to say to the person you love very much and life as such.
Words of gratitude and regret for those actions that I did not have time to do or did not do before.
Yes, we are now at war and people around feel the same when they go to the front, leave their loved ones and maybe forever.
But this everglow inspires faith that when leaving for another world, our loved ones will remember us and keep this light throughout the life they will bear and will share this light with others.
I hope you respond positively to my request and kind of a dream to release a song with Coldplay.

Hello my name is Cosmo, I am writing to say that my girlfriend ( My queen) is one of you guys biggest fans. It was on her bucket list to be able to see y'all in concert, and that dream has come try because I won her tickets on the radio 96.5 Chattanooga. I know what I'm about to ask is probably unlikely but I going to ask anyway. Jessica is my girlfriend's name and she is an amazing woman, every since she came into my life it's been a blessing. I've never met anyone that shows compassion and love to others like her, she would give the clothes off of her back if she knew someone needed it. We have been together for 3 years and I love her so so much, and want to spend the rest of my life with her.
