Hey Kellin (: My name is Catherine, I am 21 years old and live in Chicago. I just saw you for the first time at warped tour the other day; I heard your opening song and sprinted towards your stage. When you sang A Trophy Father's Trophy Son, I very nearly cried. Not because of my father not being there, but it applies almost perfectly to this guy who used to be my best friend. It's pretty funny, wherever we went together people would approach him and say he looked exactly like you. He got kicked out of his house, lived in two very run-down apartments in bad neighborhoods, and I was with him every day helping him out. When he lost his apartment due to inability to pay the rent, my family and I took him in for four months. He had Thanksgiving, his birthday, and Christmas at our home. I did so much for him, but we got in a huge argument about a month ago because he was not being nearly the friend he should have back to me. Then, he moved to California, without any sort of goodbye. We've gotten in plenty of fights, but now he's gone and we haven't talked since, when he was the only person I called best friend for the past 2 years of my life. I can relate to your music so much; it's so beautiful. I was supposed to see you a year ago, with that guy actually, but he gave my spot in the car away to someone else. I know this is a ridiculous request, but the last year of my life has been undescribable. I would love almost more than anything else to get to meet you, or the chance to talk to you. I admire you, for your talent and all you've gone through. Thank you for everything, your daughter is so beautiful, and good luck in all you hope to and will achieve in life. I just want to say that you are a truly amazing person and have a special talent. You pretty much saved my friend's life, and stopped me being sad and depressed over thing. SWS and PTV really lifted my spirits and now I'm happy :)

I know you probably get this a lot, but you really have inspired me. Your quotes and song lurics have always kept me fighting. You're right. Wrists are made for bracelets, not for cuts and scars. I've had my fair share of struggles. I self harmed for a long time. And I had a long period of depression. Along with other things that I'm not proud of. But I heard the song "If I'm James Dean You're Audrey Hepburn" and I was able to get through my depression. A lot of my close friends have struggles with the same stuff I have. Most have ended up in the hospital because of failed suicide attempt. Anyway. Your music got me through so much.
