Dear Katy

Today a 13 year old boy, lost everything when his house burned down to the ground.
Arnando Gericke lives in Western Cape, South Africa. He has been one of your biggest followers for the past 3 years, he even has his own fan pages for Katy Parry on Twitter and Face Book.
He has lost his whole Katy Parry Collection. CD’s, photos, books, DVD’s everything… When his mom picked him up from school and told him that they have lost everything, he was shuttered and his immediate reaction was …. “What about my Katy Perry collection?” I have tried to imagine myself in his position, but somethings just can’t be replaced. Arnando is in the middle of his grade 7 exams, even his school books are lost in the fire, but luckily the school principal has given him exemption from the exams because he is one of their top students.
Katy if it is possible, could you send him a signed photograph, one that is signed by yourself, I know this would mean the world to him. Maybe this could make up for his loss. You are such an inspiration in this boy’s life, you are infect his role model… sleeping walking and talking Katy Parry, this boy life by your standards and because of that, he feels that no dream is do big to fight for.
I really do hope this letter reach you.

Kindest regards

Hello katy, you seem like the most real star out there today, ur fashion is unique, proud, and femine. Stongly you have pushed youself onto the mainstreem and made your mark. Australian women can look to you as a good role model. Austalia is a huge place and not all of us can make it to the big smoke to see you when u visit. So lets blow everyones mind do a concert in the bush, local economies need it, and your just the person for it. Plus i could take ya out the river have a bbq and show ya how to kick the footy. Cheers

Dear Katy,
I don't know if this will ever get to you, but I had to try. My niece, Eevie Elouise Mulloy, was born on Sunday, November 10th 2013 in Wichita, KS with acute lymphoblastic leukemia...only 1 in 5,000,000 babies born have this rare condition that is undetectable until birth. She and her parents, Ryan and Brynne, are fighting for her life at Children's Mercy Hospital in KC, MO. Fittingly, her name (which was chosen long before they realized the significance) means "life warrior." Ryan and Brynne have chosen your empowering song Roar as Eevie's fight song. I have created a video of her pictures to date and put it on youtube at http://youtu.be/Pf2pyEUFSq0 but of course don't have the rights to get it out there. Will you please be an advocate for Eevie? She has started chemotherapy and only time will tell how she responds. Regardless, thank you for your inspiring song that means so much to us in such a tragic time.
Warm Regards,
Kim Noller (Aunt Kimmy)

To the Dear wonderful Katy Perry,

G'Day Katy Perry, it's Leah, I'm 15 years old and I live in the Aussie Outback! No not really but I do live in Australia, in a small country town. I'm one of your BIGGEST FANS EVER!

You're the BEST singer in the world. I really love your new songs, especially Roar and Dark Horse. I can't wait until I get the Prism album. I love it how you write the lyrics from your heart, and you're so true and honest. I don't see you as a role model, but a TRUE INSPIRATION!!.Your fragrances are amazing, they all smell so delicously good :)

I one day hope to meet you in person, and would do anything to get the opportunity. Maybe when you're on your next tour to Australia.

All the best for the future, and in my greatest dreams I'll see ya soon. LOVE YOU KATY PERRY!!!

All the way from Australia!!

In today’s word of technology there are so many ways to reach an audience. I often find that talented artists as yourself tend to target the teen and young adult to sell and promote your albums. I am not suggesting that this is not a good marketing move only wanted to point out that I am do not fall into that category. I am a 35 year old mother of 2 young children who listens to your music on a daily basis and has been truly inspired by your song ROAR. Last year my 2 year old son was diagnosed with a rare form of Epilepsy called Doose Syndrome. His condition is unresponsive to the typical neurological drugs. Because of this it has made it difficult to treat and caused him to have up to 30-50 seizures a day. My son is a fighter and I am a fighter. We found doctors who recommend a special diet to control these seizures. The journey has been difficult both financially and mentally. I was losing hope and feeling overwhelmed. Then I turned on the radio and heard your song. The words spoke to me and renewed me with courage and strength. When I start to become overwhelmed I just turn on your song and things start to feel better. This past Sunday I ran in my first 5k in honor of my son. Your song was on my playlist and gave me the motivation to finish the race. I am sure that you receive 1000 of letters a day. But this is not just a letter it is a thank you. You words have inspired me and give me hope. Thank you for using your talent to touch others. I will always be a fan and forever grateful to you for helping me through a difficult time.
